Unlike lighter lotions, body butters form a protective barrier that locks in moisture for up to 72 hours. Regular use helps soften and smooth rough patches, improve skin elasticity and reduce flakiness, soothe irritation from dryness or environmental stress, and provide long-lasting fragrance throughout the day. "I love this body butter so much! I used to buy it ten years ago, and it’s still the same great quality with that refreshing and lovely scent. However, the last time I purchased it, the container was only about two-thirds full. The Body Shop is charging the same price but giving less product. I think the price is quite high, especially considering that I can buy a similar body butter from another brand with either more quantity or a lower price — and the same quality. Sadly, I don’t think I’ll buy this again. I’ll be trying other brands instead."
